Matthew Wright says 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' is a "fix".

The axed jungle star insists show bosses are doing everything they can to help ensure Joey Essex wins the series because the 'Only Way is Essex' star is the most marketable out of all the celebrities, however 'The Wright Stuff' host wants Kian Egan to take home the title of 'King of the Jungle'.

He said: "It's all about Joey. It feels like that in the camp.

"We've had three weeks of 'all about Joey', which gets quite boring. Every question I was asked was about Joey. If it was, 'How was your dinner?' The next question was 'How was Joey's dinner?'.

"It was pretty obvious and I felt sorry for Kian. It feels like Joey is pre-destined to be a finalist, whereas Kian has to fight his way there. Ultimately, I think that everybody would benefit from Kian as the winner.

"That's not to say Joey doesn't deserve it -- but he's got a lot of stuff to learn. He is at the beginning of his career whereas Kian has got the T-shirt."

Matthew also hit out at Joey for being "a gorgeous human being" and claims he has been given "special treatment" in the camp.

He added to The Sun newspaper: "You could see he was being given special treatment. We were only allowed a few towels, but he had as many as he liked. He seemed to be able to ask for them from producers whenever he felt like it and they just dealt them out.

"The fact is that the odds are tipped against you. They were tipped in favour of Joey from the start. He is only famous because of an ITV2 show so this is a great opportunity for them to cash in on the home-grown talent."

Despite Matthew's claims, Joey is the odds-on favourite to win the show with bookmakers Paddy Power pricing at the reality star at 4/7, ahead of second favourite Kian at 15/8.

Those looking for value can back Lucy Pargeter or Alfonso Ribeiro at 66/1, while Rebecca Adlington and Amy Willerton are at 25/1 and David Emanuel is available at 11/1.

A Paddy Power spokesperson said: "Joey is still going strong for a post-to-post win but the field have started to narrow the gap in recent days."
