ITV have confirmed their flagship daytime shows kick off at 7am with 'GMB' aiming to bring some festive cheer to the nation with Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid.

The show will celebrate the coronavirus pandemic heroes from up and down the country, including the likes of Captain Sir Tom Moore and NHS staff members.

At 9am, Lorraine Kelly will take over as she shares some joy and laughter with special guests on 'Lorraine', and she will let viewers into the secrets of what she gets up to over the festive period.

Then at 10am, Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield will host the first-ever 'This Morning' on Christmas Day.

ITV said: "Packed full of heart-warming surprises, special guests, and of course favourite familiar faces - join the 'This Morning' family as they celebrate the most wonderful time of the year."

Just weeks later, Piers will be back grilling celebrities as his 'Life Stories' show returns for five episodes in early 2021.

He will sit down for in-depth chats with actor and writer Rupert Everett, TV presenter Trisha Goddard, 'Loose Women' panellist Coleen Nolan, reality TV star Gemma Collins and world champion former boxer Chris Eubank.

Each show will see Piers delve into the lives and minds of his famous guests.

And the host himself will reach a milestone in the new series - 100 episodes.

Piers has previously sat down with the likes of Sir Cliff Richard, Dame Joan Collins, Dame Mary Berry, Sir Elton John, Simon Cowell, and Sir Rod Stewart among others on 'Life Stories'.
