Yesterday (March 15th, 2022), Marvel released the first trailer for Ms. Marvel, an all-new Disney+ series releasing later this year (2022).

It’s safe to say that Marvel is dominating both the big and small screen at the moment, with the Moon Knight series on its way, and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness releasing in cinemas this May.

Now, after being announced some time ago, the highly-anticipated trailer for Ms. Marvel has arrived.

Ms. Marvel will introduce a brand new superhero into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU): Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani).

Kamala is a Muslim American teenager living in Jersey City. She's a regular gamer who spends much of her time writing fan-fiction, and is a huge superhero fan with an incredible imagination. Though the youngster loves all heroes, Captain Marvel is her absolute favourite.

She feels somewhat ignored at home and at school, but when she gets her own powers, everything changes. Kamala can now begin the life she’s always wanted, but will it be everything she hoped for?

The cast, along with Vellani, includes Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Matt Lintz, Yasmeen Fletcher, Laith Nakli, Azhar Usman, Travina Springer and Nimra Bucha.

The first trailer for Ms. Marvel shows the wonderful imagination of Kamala, as well as giving audiences a glimpse into her life.

She’s a high school student who, by the looks of things, is slightly shy and awkward, but has big dreams and as we know, gets the chance to follow them.

Fans seem to be excited for Ms. Marvel, as she is another new character entering the MCU, along with Moon Knight. The trailer shows an exciting adventure following a wonderful new character.

Ms. Marvel will debut on Disney+ on June 8th, 2022.

I’ve been looking forward to a Ms. Marvel trailer for some time, and I’m thrilled to have finally gotten one.

I already love Kamala, as she seems to be a relatable and fun character. I’m excited that the MCU is bringing in more diverse characters like Kamala, who is a Muslim American.

Her story has piqued my interest, and I can’t wait to see how she gets her powers, and what the upcoming season has to offer.

It’s clear, at least to me, that this show will be adventurous, comedic, and definitely something for us Marvel fans to get excited about; bring on June 8th!
