Having already made a big impression thanks to their time on La Casa de Papel, María Pedraza, Miguel Herrán and Jaime Lorente will reunite in upcoming Netflix Spanish original series ELITE, starring alongside new faces including Itzan Escamilla, Miguel Bernardeau, Arón Piper, Ester Expósito, Mina El Hammani, Álvaro Rico and Omar Ayuso, as well as one of Mexico's most popular actresses and singers, Danna Paola.

ELITE comes to Netflix in October

Directed by Ramón Salazar and Dani de la Orden, with Carlos Montero and Darío Madrona writing the series, the show is only the second Spanish original launched by Netflix.

Centering around "the best and most exclusive school in Spain", called Las Encinas, the show will focus on a group of children who are the offsprings of the elite, as well as three working class kids who have just been admitted to the school following the collapse of their academy. Though they initially think they've lucked out, they'll quickly realise they weren't so lucky after all.

With a clash between those who have it all, and those who have nothing to lose, a perfect storm is created which ultimately ends in a murder. Exactly who's behind the crime is the mystery of the series, and will be told over eight episodes.

This week, a brilliant new trailer and selection of first look images have been released ahead of ELITE's premiere. You can check them all out below:
