The 'Love Island' couple - who split again earlier this week following a series of blazing rows - have been busy shooting their fly-on-the-wall series over the past few months, but bosses have reportedly decided to slash the instalments to just three - instead of the six initially scheduled - because there was too much "nastiness."

A source told The Sun newspaper: "There was only so much arguing they could include. While Chris and Olivia had lots of good times in the 'Love Island' villa, afterwards all they seemed to do was bicker.

"Producers decided that they could fit all the footage, which was mostly of nastiness between them, into three episodes instead of six. It will start with them moving in to together and end with them breaking up. It's a complete story if nothing else."

And ITV have confirmed they have no plans to create any more episodes after Olivia reportedly dumped Chris a few days ago after they had yet another argument.

ITV said: "We never confirmed a set number of episodes but it was felt that further to recent developments in their relationship, the series had reached a natural end point."

Olivia - who met and fell in love with the hunk while living in the villa last summer -

decided to call time on her relationship with the 25-year-old heartthrob for good recently after he dumped her via text following a row and then begged for her back.

A source said at the time: "Olivia has been pushed to the limit by Chris. She's spent months putting up with him and his bad behaviour.

"He ended it by text, but then begged Olivia to forgive him, as he has done before, but this time she has no interest. She's done with him. She's stuck by him throughout everything - his feud with Katie Price and even the incident in the nightclub where he was seen appearing to kiss another woman, but she is fed up now and feels completely used by him. She's told him it's all over and that's it."

The pair - who have been on and off throughout their whole relationship - hit the rocks a few weeks ago when it was reported that Olivia, 26, had been sending flirty messages to her ex-boyfriend Bradley Dack via social media.
