The 52-year-old celebrity chef is heading Stateside after landing himself a new five-part cookery series, 'Paul Goes to Hollywood', which will see him jump on the back on a Harley Davidson motorbike for a 3,000-mile trip across the pond.

Paul will visit different culinary locations which have featured in iconic Hollywood films, making pit-stops at New York's Lenny's Pizzeria, which featured in 'Saturday Night Fever', and he will head to Los Angeles to dine at Bob's Big Boy Diner from 'Pulp Fiction'.

Kirsty Hanson, commissioning editor at UKTV, said: "We are thrilled to be working with Paul Hollywood on this perfect combination of the nation's love of travel, film and baking.

"This series is packed full of adventure and fun and will make an excellent show for both film fans and foodies."

The 'Great British Bake Off' judge will taste different delights and also cook up a storm by learning from New Orleans natives to make a honey tart and other American favourites, while being joined by famous friends.

Paul will end his road trip in Hollywood, a place he's more than familiar with the name of.

The series will launch next year on UKTV channel, Good Food and W.

What's more, Paul will be back on our screens this year for a ninth series of the popular show 'The Great British Bake Off', alongside fellow judge Prue Leith and co-hosts Sandi Toksvig and Noel Fielding.
