The brunette beauty has to leave the villa after newcomer Sam Bird decided to couple up with Samira Mighty after enjoying his first three dates in paradise.

Speaking after the hunk revealed his decision, she said: "It hurts a lot. I picked the wrong choice initially when it came to men, and I was hoping things would change and that I would find my happily ever after, but it obviously wasn't meant to be."

It comes after Sam had a trio of first dates after joining the hopeful romantics on the ITV2 reality show.

Although he also spent some time with Ellie Brown, he decided to step aside after she admitted she wanted to try and see what would happen between her and Dr. Alex George.

Alex couldn't believe his luck when Sam revealed he wasn't going to get in the way of their blossoming romance, and in the Beach Hut he said it showed what kind of "gentleman" he is.

However, he also tried to sway his fellow islander towards Samira as he made it clear he didn't want his friend to have to leave.

Announcing his decision, Sam said: "We had an amazing first date today. She looked absolutely stunning, and I really feel like we had a genuine connection.

"I don't think she's had what she wants from this villa yet, and I would like to give her that chance. The girl I want to couple up with is Samira."

The rest of the gang were gutted to see her go, and even Adam George - who coupled up with Zara McDermott - had some kind words as he wished her all the best.

He added that he hopes "she finds what she's looking for".
