The former 'Emmerdale' star walked out of the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house this week following a dramatic few days in which she has been blasted for accusing housemate Ryan Thomas of "assault" after a play fight, and now Kelvin - who played the husband of her character Jo on the ITV soap - has hit out at her on social media.

After Roxanne accused Ryan of hitting her "like a boxer", Kelvin took to Twitter to simply write: "She. Is. Evil. #cbb (sic)"

Kelvin isn't the only actor from the soap to have slammed the 35-year-old actress either, as several stars took to social media to accuse Roxanne of lying about what happened during the incident.

Charley Webb, who plays Debbie Dingle on the show, wrote: "It's worrying that someone is allowed to say that about someone and they're taking it seriously. We've just watched it and nothing happened. Outrageous. (sic)"

Before she later added: "So, all of Roxanne's social media has been deleted. Says a lot to me. I've woken up this morning even more furious for @ ryanjamesthomas and all the women who actually do suffer from abuse. It's not normal behaviour and there needs to be consequences. (sic)"

Verity Rushworth, who played Donna Windsor, also offered her support to 'Coronation Street' star Ryan, when she wrote: "Karma's a b***h... #CBB #Ryantowin. (sic)"

Roxanne chose to leave the 'Big Brother' house after the incident, which saw a total of 11,215 complaints lodged with Ofcom from viewers who were shocked by Roxanne's alleged comments.

The actress will be interviewed on her exit during Monday's (03.09.18) episode of the show.
