The 41-year-old comedian and YouTube rapper Lady Leshurr, are among the stars who will compete in the 2021 series, after impressing producers during their auditions.

A source told The Sun Online: "'Dancing On Ice' are putting together one of their most eclectic line-ups ever and bosses are delighted to have got Rufus and Lady Leshurr onboard.

"Neither of them are going to play it safe - on the show or on the ice. The next series is certainly not going to be light on entertainment."

The 46-year-old presenter was one of a number of stars who recently auditioned for the next series of the ice-skating reality TV show and Denise reportedly impressed show bosses so much that they offered her a deal.

A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "After some top secret negotiations, Denise was offered the chance to take part and she jumped at the chance.

"She's signed a deal worth £40,000. Bosses are thrilled to have her on board. They know she will give it her all in training and be popular with viewers."

Other stars to audition include Wayne Bridge, 40, Dr. Alex George, 27, Vicki Michelle, 69, Olympians Denise Lewis, 47, and Mark Foster, 50, darts star Fallon Sherrock, 26, and former 'Love Island' star Luke Trotman, 23.
