The 33-year-old star - who split from husband Dan Neal in June after six years of marriage - had taken some time off to cope with his divorce, but he admitted he could do with some time to "have fun and get a bit of joy".

As quoted by The Sun newspaper's TV Biz column, he said: "I really need one. And I need a holiday - a week's all-inclusive in the sun, with someone bringing me food and drink, and not moving.

"After the year I've had, which everyone knows has been hard, I just want to have fun and get a bit of joy in my house."

Meanwhile, the 'Strictly Comes Dancing: It Takes Two' host insisted he isn't looking for romance so soon after his breakup.

He explained: "I'm not actually dating, my friend signed me up to a dating app for a laugh. I'm enjoying being on my own."

Earlier this month, Rylan revealed he has decided to ditch his sparkly white teeth - which he got back in 2013 - for a new set of gnashers.

In a Twitter post, he spilled: "After 8 years. It hurts, so much, but sometimes you just have to let go. I’ve taken the decision to say goodbye… to my teeth ... new smile imminent."

The BBC Radio 2 DJ is believed to have spent £25,000 on his smile, but he has considered the cosmetic dentistry to have been his "biggest" beauty mistake.

Speaking to BANG Showbiz at the National Television Awards back in 2016, he said: "My biggest mistake was my teeth but, to be fair, they’ve earned me a lot of money."

Rylan's decision to change his smile comes months after his split from Dan over summer.

In a statement confirming the pair's break-up, he said at the time: "I have made a number of mistakes which I deeply regret and have inevitably led to the breakdown of our marriage. I have taken time away from work as I am not in a good place at the moment and am seeking help.

"I am trying to take each day at a time and would like to say thank you to everyone for their support and for respecting our privacy at this time.”
