The 'X Factor' runner-up - who missed out on the winning record deal to Matt Terry in 2016 but has had huge success ever since - will be back on screens next year after she agreed to take part in the forthcoming series of the skating show.

A source told The Sun Online: "After Jake Quickenden won the show last year bosses were keen to sign up another 'X Factor' star.

"They're sure Saara's showmanship and bubbly personality will translate to the rink and are delighted she said yes."

However, although she won over the hearts of the nation with her incredible vocals, Saara will need to work hard if she's to lift the famous trophy at the end as she will be going up against some strong contenders; including former 'Strictly Come Dancing' professional James Jordan and TOWIE's Gemma Collins.

Also confirmed for next year's line-up is Westlife's Brian McFadden, Loose Women's Saira Khan, former 'EastEnders' hunk Richard Blackwood, Melody Thornton, ex-'Neighbours' star Mark Little, and cricketer Ryan Sidebottom.

Earlier today, Coronation Street's Jane Danson became the ninth celebrity to confirm her spot on the line-up as she admitted she's "excited" for the challenge.

She said: "I've known since July so quite a while, so I've had to keep it under my hat for a long time. The next few days I'll be starting the training.

"I can skate a little bit. I think, obviously, when you take on something like this, you've got to expect that it's not without risks but I'm not really thinking about that because I'm seeing it as a challenge."

The last series - the first since it was axed in 2014 by ITV - saw the judging panel made up of skating champions Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean, acid tongue Jason Gardiner and Diversity's Ashley Banjo, but it's not yet been confirmed whether all four will reclaim their seats on the panel this time around.

However, former Olympic skater Karen Barber will reclaim her head coach position on the 11th series of the show after she missed out on the job this year.

She explained: "It's a joy to return."
