Sam Bailey will perform a routine like no other on The X Factor final this coming weekend.

The former prison officer will reportedly slide down a pole into a set made to look like a jail cell while singing Lady Gaga's 'Edge of Glory' in a bid to sex up the performances in Saturday night's show (14.12.13) after critics predicted it would be boring.

A source told the Sun newspaper: "Sam's routine for 'Edge of glory' is her raunchiest yet. There will be a pole on stage and it's a prison set. Producers are aware of the criticism of this year's finalists and want to make sure it is as lively as possible."

Sam is currently the bookies favourite to win the competition, but she faces stiff competition from fellow finalists Nicholas McDonald and Luke Friend.

The 36-year-old singer will perform with 'X Factor' judge Nicole Scherzinger for a rendition of 'And I'm Telling You', which was popularised by Jennifer Hudson in the 2006 film adaptation of Broadway musical 'Dreamgirls'.

Luke, 17, will team up with Ellie Goulding to sing her hit 'Anything Could Happen', while Nicholas will sing 'Flying Without Wings' with former Westlife star Shane Filan.

Meanwhile, stars such as Katy Perry and One Direction will take to the stage along with Gary Barlow, who will be performing a duet with Sir Elton John, before the winner is crowned on Sunday night. (15.12.13)
