The 27-year-old television personality and her partner Paul Knightley have sworn themselves off from sleeping on the same mattress following the arrival of daughter Rosie back in November.

Speaking in a preview clip of their show, 'The Mummy Diaries', Sam said: "So how long do you think it's going to be until we're back in the same bed? I estimate about three years. I miss cuddling you in bed, it feels weird don't you think?"

To which Paul replied: "Once Rosie goes through the night, you can get back in with us."

The couple - who also have two-year-old son Paul - have decided to sleep separately so they can be with their children through the night but Sam can't wait until she can sleep in her "lovely luxurious bed" again alongside her partner.

Speaking directly to the camera, Sam added: "I'm not going to lie, I do miss sharing a bed with Big Paul. I think we've got into such a routine with going into separate beds and sleeping with the kids. It's just become normal to us and I look forward to the day that I can get back into my lovely luxurious bed."

Meanwhile, Sam previously admitted she had a "really nice" pregnancy with her daughter Rosie until she got nearer to the end of the nine months.

She said recently: "I had a really nice pregnancy and didn't have any symptoms. But when I had Paul to look after as well, I was just so much more tired. Towards the end of the pregnancy, I was like: 'This is really hard now.' The birth was so much nicer. All my family were there and the experience was so much better. It's been an amazing journey becoming a family of four."
