Sky and NOW have revealed the official trailer for the highly-anticipated third season of popular drama series, Succession.

Sky is Europe’s leading entertainment and media company, connecting their 2.4 million customers to the best entertainment, sports, news and more.

TV is heating up at the moment, with new series such as Sex Education hitting Netflix only yesterday (17th September, 2021), and YOU getting its season three trailer; however, many fans are keenly looking forward to the return of the Roy family.

The show began in 2018, and has since kept fans on the edges of their seats with the family drama and shocking events that have taken place within Succession. The Roy family are at odds and, quite possibly, at war as the king of the castle is now in a difficult position…

Succession follows the rich and powerful Roy family, who control the largest media and entertainment company in the world. Despite this seemingly lavish lifestyle, Logan Roy (Brian Cox) stuns his family with the announcement that he will be stepping down from the family business.

Logan, at the end of season two, was caught off-guard by his reprobate son, Kendall (Jeremy Strong); Logan enters season three in a perilous position.

Struggling to keep familial, political and financial allies, the tension quickly rises as a corporate war inches its way closer to the Roy family, threatening to tear them apart.

The official trailer, which comes two roughly two months after the minute-long teaser trailer in July, 2021, shows a family in the spotlight, but for all the wrong reasons.

In the midst of a family war and with tensions flying high, every member must trust no one except themselves in this intense battle among what used to be loved ones.

While the Roy family appear to still be relishing in their posh, luxury lifestyles, their inner conflicts may be rising to the surface, and Logan seems left out and afraid.

The trailer only adds to what was seen in the teaser trailer, and Succession looks as though it could be taking things to another level.

As well as Cox and Strong, season three of Succession stars Sarah Snook, Kieran Culkin, Alan Ruck, Nicholas Braun, Matthew Macfadyen, Peter Friedman, J. Smith Cameron, Dagmara Dominczyk, Justine Lupe, David Rasche, Fisher Stevens, Hiam Abbass, Arian Moayed, Harriet Walter and James Cromwell.

Additional cast includes Alexander Skarsgård, Sanaa Lathan, Linda Emond, Jihae, with Adrien Brody and Hope Davis.

Season three of Succession will arrive on Sky and NOW in the UK and Ireland from 2am on Monday, 18th October, 2021.
