Created, written and directed by Sam Levinson, and starring Spider-Man and Dune Emmy award-winning actress Zendaya, Season 2 of Euphoria will be returning to Sky Atlantic and streaming platform NOW in January, 2022.

The drama series will be returning in only a couple of months’ time, with eight brand-new episodes. The teaser that was released earlier this week, was posted on Zendaya’s Instagram account; Spider-Man co-star, Jacob Batalon, commented on the star’s post, saying the trailer was ‘Too. F***ing. Lit’.

Emmy Award-winning Euphoria returns to Sky Atlantic, and sees that, amidst the interweaved lives of the town of East Highland, 17-year-old Rue (Zendaya) needs to seek out hope while balancing the pressures of not only love and loss, but addiction too. 

The first season of this outstanding drama series was awarded three Primetime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Lead Actress In A Drama Series (Zendaya), Outstanding Contemporary Makeup (Non-Prosthetic), as well as Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics. 

Euphoria is a show that holds nothing back; its cast and music, as shown by the awards it has received, make it a truly unique and outstanding show that fans will no doubt be excited to see more of. 

The show is created and written by Levinson, who also serves as an executive producer alongside Ravi Nandan, Kevin Turen, Will Greenfield, Drake, Adel “Future” Nur, Zendaya, Hadas Mozes Lichtenstein, Ron Leshem and Daphna Levin. Kenneth Yu serves as a producer, with Ashley Levinson, Harrison Kreiss, and Julio Perez as co-producers. 

The drama series is produced in partnership with A24, and based on the Israeli series of the same name, which was created by Ron Leshem and Daphna Levin, from HOT. 

Euphoria will be released weekly on Sky Atlantic and NOW from January 9th, 2022.
