Netflix continue to pump out some brilliant exclusive material this year, and will later this week drop their documentary FYRE: The Greatest Party That Never Happened. You can check out the first-look trailer for the film below:

Director Chris Smith gives audiences a first-hand look into the chaos that surrounded the Fyre music festival, allowing the organisers themselves to tell their stories of how the luxury music festival on a private island in the Bahamas never came to pass.

Created by Billy McFarland and Ja Rule, the event was supposed to play host to A-list musical guests, as well as gorgeous housing, posh amenities and more.

What was promised was not what was actually offered up however, and the festival eventually had to be called off completely.

As one of the most talked-about non-events of 2017, it's going to be interesting to finally peel back the curtain and go behind-the-scenes, discovering exactly what went wrong and why...

FYRE: The Greatest Party That Never Happened launches globally on Netflix from Friday, January 18, 2019.
