The former 'EastEnders' star, the Girls Aloud singer and the American television personality were joined in the famous abode by 'Made in Chelsea's Sam Thompson, spiritual medium Derek Acorah and 'Hollyoaks' star Paul Danan.

On entering the house, Sarah was excited about getting a chance to show people who she really is.

She told host Emma Willis: "I have no idea [what I was expecting] but all I can say is that it's now time for the public to see the real Sarah ... I'm bricking it. I just never thought I would get this far. I want people to see where I came from. I started in reality television so why not go back there? I've been in a girl band and I don't like it."

Also entering the house was 'Mob Wives' Marissa Jade, 'The Bachelorette's Chad Johnson, comedienne Helen Lederer and former 'Apprentice' contestant Karthik Nagesan.

They have been joined by 'Ibiza Weekender's Jordan Davies, 'X Factor's Amelia Lily, YouTube star Trisha Paytas and tattoo model Jemma Lucy.

As the first housemate into the famous abode, Shaun was set a special task where he had to show a severe case of first night nerves. When each of the contestants arrived, Shaun had to convince his fellow housemates that he was getting more and more nervous.

His final task of the night was to nominate a rock - who he would stick by throughout the night - and he opted for 'Gogglebox's Sandi Bogle. He then had to keep her inside the house, even with the temptation of a champagne party out in the garden.

But what Shaun doesn't know is that he is playing for immunity and to make it all even more exciting, there could be a killer nomination making an appearance too.

Earlier in the night, Emma revealed the winner of 'Celebrity Big Brother' will be given £50,000 to hand over to their chosen charity.

The first 'Celebrity Big Brother' eviction will take place next Tuesday (08.08.17) and the show will return to screens on Wednesday night (02.08.17).
