The 'Apprentice' winner sells her celebrity-backed swimwear designs via her own website and Asos - but her company suffered significant losses during a 16-month period to June last year.

Sian Marie Fashion Limited achieved sales worth as much as £92,151 over the trading period.

But the company - whose designs have been modelled by the likes of Michelle Keegan, Georgia Kousoulou and Megan McKenna - still ended up in the red owing to various costs, including spending £86,307 on advertising and PR.

The losses have been attributed to Sian's investment in infrastructure, according to The Sun newspaper.

Meanwhile, Sian previously claimed that 'The Apprentice' has changed her life "for the better".

The businesswoman doesn't have any regrets about appearing on the BBC show, which stars Lord Alan Sugar.

She said: "I guess you could say personally I've been so busy working I'm not seen my friends and family because I've been so busy you know in my office, getting my head down.

"It's quite weird now because sometimes I'll go out somewhere and people are like 'Did you win The Apprentice?' which is quite weird but overall it's all changed for the better.

"I think I love a good challenge and I like to get involved and stuck in and you know do the best I can with things and I'm kind of a bit obsessed with it at the minute, because I just want it to do well and I put every hour into it."
