The 53-year-old singer is still bitter about being axed from the ITV talent competition after bosses decided to recruit former judge Cheryl Tweedy to help Simon Cowell whittle down the Groups category ready for the live shows instead of her, and she couldn't resist slamming their behaviour.

The X Factor Live 2017 Twitter account announced the news that the former Girls Aloud band member would be accompanying the 58-year-old music mogul in the next stage of the show.

The account tweeted: "Cheryl Tweedy will help Simon pick the best three groups at Judges' Houses this year! @sinittaofficial missed out on being there this year around."

Sinitta has asked the programme to "stop telling [her] 1000 times" she has been snubbed from the serie and have some respect because she's still angry about the way things have been handled.

She retweeted the post and replied: "Yes! Ok!! Got It!! Why dont you add #NurNurNurNurNur! Stick it Up your Nose! Stop telling me 1000 times .Stupid Bad Mannered Boring Annoying (sic)."

However, the 'Fight For this Love' singer's return to the programme was not easy, and Cheryl - who has six-month-old son Bear with her partner Liam Payne - felt she had to "break the ice" between her and Simon before she boarded a flight with him to Nice in France.

Speaking previously about Cheryl's comeback, a source said: "She curtsied for him when she first got onto the plane - it was her way of breaking the ice."

However, Cheryl - who last appeared on 'The X Factor' two years ago after being recruited as a judge in 2008 - and Simon, who has three-year-old son Eric with his partner Lauren Silverman, swiftly picked up where they left off as they "bonded" over parenting during the journey.

The insider explained: "Simon and Cheryl bonded over parenting during a private jet and helicopter flight to the house."
