The first part of Star Trek: Discovery’s debut season has been by all accounts a roaring success, and fans are already looking ahead to the future and the final episodes that will make up the series. Exactly how the rest of the season will play out remains to be seen, but we do know that there will be four major players in the show, which can be seen in the brilliant new character posters for the series below:

Produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Alex Kurtzman’s Secret Hideout, Bryan Fuller’s Living Dead Guy Productions and Roddenberry Entertainment, the series has some major heavy hitters in the entertainment industry bringing it to fans across the globe. In America, it can be seen on CBS’ streaming platform All Access, whilst those who have Netflix access elsewhere (aside from Canada) can watch the show on there.

Former The Walking Dead star Sonequa Martin-Green takes the lead role as Michael Burnham in the show, with Doug Jones as Lieutenant Saru, Jason Isaacs as Captain Gabriel Lorca and Javid Iqbal as the show’s Klingon separatist Voq, all seen in the posters above.

Discovery also stars the likes of Shazad Latif as Ash Tyler, Anthony Rapp as Paul Stamets and Mary Wiseman as Sylvia Tilly, who we hope will all be making a triumphant return following the shocking cliffhanger that Part 1 of the show left us on!

The success of Discovery has led to some fans calling for remastered versions of the original series, whilst others have called for more clarification when it comes to filling in the gaps that seem to be being left wide open. Whether or not any of that happens remains to be seen, but we have faith in the writers and those behind-the-scenes on Discovery to at least give us a story that will all make sense and fit in with the Star Trek canon when all is said and done.

Chapter 2 of Star Trek: Discovery will premiere on Sunday, January 7, 2018 on CBS All Access, and will come to Netflix the day after on Monday, January 8, 2018.
