The 25-year-old actress is reprising her role as Sinead O'Connor on the Chester soap and upcoming scenes will see her out to wreak revenge on her former lover (Kieron Richardson) as he's about to tie the knot with his partner Harry Thompson (Parry Glasspool).

The show's autumn trailer dropped on Monday (17.09.18) and ended with Sinead's return in a cab.

As rain lashed down, she said to the driver: "Can you get me to Hollyoaks please? I've got a wedding to ruin."

And Stephanie wasn't the only returning face to appear in the promo.

Anna Passey is returning to the village as Sienna Blake, following a few months absence while her character was behind bars, but the crazed former nanny promises she's changed.

She said in the trailer: "New Sienna does not do revenge, I've changed."

After Courtney Campbell (Amy Conachan) came face-to-face with old flame Liam Donovan in Spain recently, Jude Monk McGowan

- who has taken over the role from Maxim Baldry - is back in the village as the ex-hairdresser, while former 'Coronation Street' star Lucy Jo Hudson will make her highly-anticipated full debut as prostitute Donna-Marie.

And Tony Hutchinson (Nick Pickard) will be back by the side of wife Diane (Alex Fletcher) after fleeing Chester in July when the strain of his daughter Dee Dee's illness proved too much to handle.

As well as Sinead's return, the trailer also hinted Ste and Harry's big day could be disrupted by the teenage prostitute's lawyer lover James Nightingale (Gregory Finnegan), as he gives his secret partner an ultimatum.

Wedding bells are also on the cards for Cleo McQueen (Nadine Mulkerrin) and Joel Dexter (Rory Speed) but their celebrations are under threat due to the barmaid's battle with bulimia, with 'Hollyoaks' bosses already having previously revealed they are planning to show the occasion from multiple perspectives to highlight Cleo's distorted grip on reality.

The teaser also promised fireworks as Mandy Morgan (Sarah-Jayne Dunn) and Darren Osbourne (Ashley Taylor Dawson)'s affair is revealed, with Nancy Osbourne (Jessica Fox) slapping her love rival, and Tom Cunningham (Ellis Hollins) hitting out at Darren for tearing their families apart.

Brody Hudson (Adam Woodward) is in turmoil when Buster Smith (Nathan Sussex) pleads not guilty to abusing him, the net is closing further in on Glenn Donovan (Bob Cryer) with the WAGS' revenge plans growing, and there's a pleasant surprise in store for Kim Butterfield (Daisy Wood Davis) when she comes face-to-face with her idol, pop star Rick Astley.

'Hollyoaks' boss Brian Kirkwood has already confirmed this year's autumn stunt will revolve around a storm, with hints at the disaster also present in the trailer.
