The 25-year-old actress took to her Instagram Stories to appeal for advice about how she can get herself and her 17-month-old son Caben ready for her early starts on the Channel 4 show's set next week to film her comeback as Sinead O'Connor.

She said: "I look really bad right now. Caben has just gone to sleep because he is teething. At the start of next week I've got God knows how many lines to learn and I've also got to try and get some sleep. Then get up, get me dressed, get him dressed, and then get all the way to work and be in make-up for half seven. It's going to be a challenge.

"So, any mums who have to be in work early and get their children ready, can I have a few tips please? I really don't know how I am going to do it. This is hard. It's being a mum, hey."

The former 'Celebrity Big Brother' star was inundated with messages from fellow mothers, and admitted she is planning to wake up at 5am next week ready for her days on set.

Stephanie - who shares Caben with Jeremy McConnell - added: "Thank you for your messages - they've been fab. I am going to be up at 5am with everything ready the night before, lots of coffee and bedtime stories are now going to be scripts. There is going to be lots of preparation but we can do it."

Stephanie's 'Hollyoaks' comeback was confirmed in May, two years after Sinead fled the fictional village with Ste Hay's (Kieron Richardson) daughter Hannah.

She said: "I'm over the moon to be given this amazing opportunity and so excited to bring feisty Sinead back to 'Hollyoaks'.

"I can't wait to see all the cast and crew there, many that I have known for years. I just want to get stuck into learning my first scripts I can't wait to be on set and hear the 1ST AD shout 'rolling up' and be back acting again, which is my passion."
