The former 'Hollyoaks' actress was put on oxygen and tested positive for coronavirus after she was rushed to hospital last week and after feeling low in isolation, Oliver Tasker decided to brighten his girlfriend's day by standing outside the window of her room.

Stephanie shared a photo of the view from her room, with Oliver standing down below, and wrote on her Instagram Story: "He came to the hospital and told me to look out the window.

"Because he knows how much I've been missing him and how rubbish I've felt and wanted to cheer me up."

And the surprises for the star didn't stop there as she also received a stunning flower arrangement.

Stephanie shared a photo of the blooms and wrote: "Then was sent the most beautiful flowers ever. I love you so much it hurts."

The 28-year-old star received her visitor just hours after telling fans she was starting to feel better.

She wrote on her Instagram Stories: "After the worst pain I've ever been in, I'm Getting there now, Love to you all. (sic)"

Stephanie - who played Sinead Shelby in the Channel 4 soap - updated her fans on Monday (05.07.21) to say she was going to have a camera put down her as doctors tried to figure out what was wrong, and admitted she was "sick of being in pain".

She said: "Thanks for all your messages.

"Hopefully when I get the camera down today that'll figure out a lot of stuff that's going on.

"But yeah, COVID has been absolutely horrific.

"I think yesterday was the worst day yet.

"I'm going to just focus now on getting better.

"I'll let you all know how I'm getting on when I'm feeling a lot better.

"I'm anxious because I'm getting the camera put down today, but hopefully that'll figure out what's causing all the pain and that.

"I'm alright, I'm just in pain and I'm sick of being in pain now."
