Ben 'The Stig' Collins thinks it would be "quite funny" to see a female presenter on 'Top Gear'.
The 40-year-old stunt driver, who is best known for his appearances on the BBC motoring show, would like to see a woman join Chris Evans in the new line-up following the departures of long-time hosts Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May earlier this year.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, The Stig said: "I really don't know what their plan is, but in one part it is a good contrast to have a woman's impact.
"I think we get very obsessed about certain details, so I think it will be quite funny to see it from a woman's perspective. They see things that men don't.
"Things can literally be in front of a man and you just can't see them with cars, so I think it could be quite a funny angle there, just basically taking the p**s out of the lads."
The Stig also admitted he doesn't know for certain whether he'll appear in the revamped show, but has backed new host Chris to make a success of 'Top Gear'.
He said: "I don't really know what's going to come out. We'll have to see how they reformulate.
"I think that's what Chris Evans is known for, being a fantastic host. He's got a real eye for the structure of a winning format and he's done that many times so I think it's exciting."
'Ben Collins: Stunt Driver' is available on Digital HD now and on DVD and Blu-Ray on November 9.
