A brand new poster and second full-length trailer have been revealed for upcoming Netflix original series Stranger Things, giving audiences a fresh glimpse at what they should expect when the supernatural thriller hits the streaming service.

The new teaser shows a group of friends in 1983 enjoying an innocent game of Dungeons & Dragons in Hawkins, Indiana. Things take a sinister turn however when little Will Byers disappears on the way home from the game, seemingly into thin air.

With dozens of conspiracy theories behind the youngster's disappearance, friends, family and local authorities all club together in a search for answers. Little do they know however what they will be drawn into.

An extraordinary mystery will unfold before viewers' eyes, as top-secret government experiments, terrifying supernatural forces and the discovery of a strange young girl changes everything the residents of Hawkins thought they knew about the world.

Embued with powers that appear super human, Will's old friends begin to discover and understand that Eleven could have a very close connection to their missing friend.

Winona Ryder, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Mattarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Millie Brown, Matthew Modine, David Harbour, Charlie Heaton, Natalia Dyer and Cara Buono all star in the new series.

All episodes of the show will debut globally on Netflix in all territories where the platform is available on Friday, July 15.
