Following the release of some interesting first look pictures, Netflix have today (June 9) unveiled an exciting trailer and poster ahead of the premiere of one of their latest original series, Stranger Things.
Looking like an extremely dark, sometimes terrifying but utterly compelling show, Stranger Things follows the story of a young boy who completely vanishes into thin air.
Friends, family and local police come together to search for answers, but are soon drawn into a world they thought they'd never be a part of, including an extraordinary mystery involving top-secret government experiments, supernatural forces and a strange, young girl.
Winona Ryder stars in the new series, alongside David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Natalia Dyer, Cara Buono, Charlie Heaton and Matthew Modine.
Matt and Ross Duffer serve as writers, directors and co-showrunners of the series, and are also executive producers alongside Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen via their 21 Laps entertainment banner. Levy also serves as director.
Stranger Things will debut on Netflix on July 15 in all territories where the streaming service is available.
