The McFly star would love the 'Harry Potter' actor - who starred as Draco Malfoy in the wizarding film franchise - to play him in a movie about his life, because he is forever being told he looks like the 34-year-old actor.

When asked who he would want to play in a film of his life, he said: "Tom Felton, who played Draco Malfoy in 'Harry Potter'.

"People always get us confused and we don’t correct them anymore!"

Tom, 36, would love to be a big screen star himself one day, and he is keen to portray Back to the Future's Marty McFly after the 'Obviously' hitmakers named their group after the iconic character.

He said: "Hands down, Marty McFly from 'Back To The Future'.

"That film changed my life, we named our band after it. And it has an amazing soundtrack."

Tom also counts 'Back To The Future' as his favourite film of all time.

He said: "It has everything you could possible want, time travelling, the DeLorean, a mad scientist and a hero who can skateboard and play guitar.

"It’s the perfect film."

Tom and his 'Strictly' pro partner Amy Dowden missed last weekend's show after they were both struck down with coronavirus and were forced to self-isolate for 10 days as a result.

But they have returned to training and will dance the jive to Chuck Berry's 'Johnny B Goode' from Tom's favourite film 'Back to the Future' on Saturday (09.10.21).
