The 42-year-old actress believes the 'Prison Break' hunk would be the perfect choice to star opposite her in the Channel 4 soap because her alter-ego "always goes for a bit of a weirdo".

When asked who she would like to see play her next love interest, she said: "It would be Wentworth Miller from 'Prison Break', deffo 100 per cent.

"He's a bit weird as well which kind of suits Grace, she always goes for a bit of a weirdo."

Tamara's current storyline sees Grace as one of the seven suspects in the Who Shot Mercedes whodunit, which will play out this week and last for a few months.

In Friday's (01.11.19) E4 episode, viewers saw Grace reveal to the villagers that it was in fact Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) who ran her over in a hit-and-run earlier this year, when Harry Thompson (Parry Glasspool) - who has since been killed - was initially blamed.

And Tamara loves filming the rivalry between Grace and Mercedes, comparing it to the famous soap showdowns between 'Dynasty' characters Alexis and Krystle Carrington, who were played by Dame Joan Collins and Linda Evans respectively.

She said: "It's always fun. It's like something out of 'Dynasty', I think that's what we get described as, Alexis and Krystle Carrington, because they are two of the feistiest characters in the show.

"When there's a big bust up between them it's always massive and it's always a complete bitch fest.

"It's fun filming it because obviously me and Jen don't hate each other at all, far from it, so we always have a laugh doing it and we always go as over the top as we can possibly get away with."

As well as Grace, Mercedes' husband Sylver McQueen (David Tag), her lover Liam Donovan (Jude Monk McGowan), serial killer Breda McQueen (Moya Brady), secret keeper Joel Dexter (Rory Douglas-Speed), her pal Diane Hutchinson (Alex Fletcher), and angry lawyer James Nightingale (Gregory Finnegan) will all be suspects in her shooting.
