'The Voice' judge will.i.am is disappointed with winner Andrea Begley.

The singer impressed viewers with her performances during the final of the TV talent show last night (23.06.13) but the Black Eyed Peas star seemed devastated she won over his protege - and bookie's favourite - Leah McFall.

He tweeted: "You should feel the audiences vibration in the room [tonight] after the publics vote...its #unexplainable...so sad...#perplexed. (sic)"

Although will.i.am backtracked slightly, he still hinted Leah - who he recently described as a "golden child" - should have walked away at the show's winner.

He also wrote: "Andrea is amazing...#dontGETmeWRONG...but we know who has the incredible #voice."

Today (23.06.13), the 'Scream & Shout' hitmaker posted a brief congratulatory message on the social networking site.

He simply added: "Congratulations to andrea for winning...#theVOICEuk."

He then told Leah they should start to "work" on "making hits", adding it would give her a victory of her own.

He wrote: "@leahmcfallmusic we need to get to work...there is winning #theVOICEuk & then there is making hits...that's how we will win...#youAREamazing."

Andrea, 27, won the show after performances of Evanescence's 'My Immortal', 'Angel' by Sarah McLachlan and 'Hall of Fame', accompanied by her mentor Danny O'Donoghue and his band The Script
