WWE's first ever all-female pay-per-view WWE Evolution saw a brilliant Battle Royal take place, where Peyton Royce and Billie Kay, aka The IIconics were the first two women eliminated after talking some major smack.

The women involved in the match were told that the winner would get a future championship opportunity, so there was a heck of a lot on the line for both the veterans and current WWE Superstars competing.

Molly Holly was the third eliminee, whilst Kelly Kelly was thrown out fourth by Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose, who also took out Torrie Wilson. Mandy however then turned on her friend Sonya, and sent her flying to the mat.

Alundra Blayze was thrown out of the ring by Nia Jax, who also dealt with Maria Kanellis before teaming up with Tamina to slap the other women to the ground, in a bid to go head-to-head. Unfortunately for Lana, who tried to be the peacemaker between the women, she was taken out next by the pair.

Mandy Rose almost took out Ivory, but she gained a helping hand from dance partner Carmella, who dumped Mandy over the top rope.

Dana Brooke also hit the apron hard when Ember Moon decided she'd had enough, with the latter also quickly disposing of Michelle McCool.

Naomi was eliminated by Tamina, and Carmella's attempts of taking on Nia in the corner saw her thrown over the ring post and flung to the floor.

The legendary Ivory was the last Hall of Famer standing, but Asuka eliminated her before going one-on-one with Ember. The pair exchanged heavy blows as the audience broke out in chants of "NXT!", and Ember got the upper hand when she threw the Empress of Tomorrow out of the ring.

Unfortunately for her, a refreshed Tamina lurked, delivering a spinning side slam and a superkick to Nia, who attempted to get in on the three-woman battle.

Ember eliminated Tamina, leaving just her and Nia standing, with the former suddenly being ragdolled around the ring, but refusing to give up.

What fans forgot is that Selina Vega was still a part of the match, and whilst she tried to take the easy win, she failed to properly eliminate Nia and Ember, eventually being tossed into Tamina and to the floor outside.

Nia then managed to eliminate her main competition, Ember, and took a future title opportunity in another fantastic WWE Evolution match.

WWE Evolution continues on WWE Network, where other fantastic WWE content is available.
