Alexander O'Neal's wife Cynthia has called for Coronation Street legend Ken Morley to be removed from the Celebrity Big Brother house.
Criticising the former star of the soap as a "disgusting, despicable racist", she wants bosses to get the boot after he seemed to refer to her husband as a "big fat Negro".
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, Cynthia explained: "I can't believe the choice of words. It's disgusting, it's despicable, it's something that should never come out of anyone's mouth any more."
She went on to insist that Ken's claims he was joking are irrelevant as she sees that type of language as unacceptable, period.
"This man is not stupid, this man is ignorant. Those words would not come out of someone's mouth unless they were racist."
A formal warning was issued to Ken from Big Brother following the incident, and he was also told off for comments he made about several women in the house.
"How much lower can you go? He insulted the black race to the fullest extent, I think it's appalling."
Fellow housemates put Ken up for eviction in a bout of live nominations, and he's to now face the public vote alongside Alexander and reality star Chloe Goodman.
Cynthia added: "If Alex is voted off and Ken isn't, I think there will be an explosion in London over racism."
