Hoping he doesn't have to smell anybody's breath, feet or backsides whilst in the Celebrity Big Brother house, Alexander signed up to the show because he likes challenges.

"I'll try to win this thing!" he declared before heading into the house, admitting that he doesn't want drama and controversy whilst in the compound.

"I just don't like being around people like that. Those are some of the reasons why I don't like being around other people."

Alicia hopes that people can see the "real me" during her time in CBB, as she doesn't think she's given the public the chance to meet the real her in the past.

"I am a completely different person but I am still tarred with the same brush" she explained, referring to her past tabloid headlines and high-profile romances.

Hoping she doesn't get into any major arguments, she claimed her least favourite housemate would be Katie Hopkins. Alicia certainly chose the wrong series to go into the house.

Calum Best

Calum isn't looking for love in the house and insists he'd actually prefer a bromance to a romance during his time on the show.

"If there is a girl and something evolves organically then I like the idea of going in there and getting on with somebody, but it isn't a focus of mine" he said.

Claiming his famous ex-lovers have no need to worry, he thinks kiss-and-tell stories are "horrendous", and would hate to have "a serious kick off" in the home because of his "pretty bad temper".

Having being engaged to former TOWIE castmember Kirk Norcross, Cami's hoping to show the UK "who I really am and have a good time" in the house.

"I am my own person and I want them to know that this is who I am and not this person's ex. I don't want to be Cami who used to be with Kirk."

Saying she'll struggle with those who have type A personalities, she claims to be "the only head bitch in charge", who gets along much better with men "until they try to sleep with me".

Rising to fame on MTV's Ex On The Beach, she isn't bothered about the negative reaction she may get from the crowd.

Having getting past her fear of falling up the stairs in the home, she hopes that the public can now see the "real" side of her as opposed to the one they saw on Ex.

"I feel that by going into the CBB House I can try to get away from the whole Ex On The Beach stereotype of who I was on that show, and if she [Vicky Pattison] goes into CBB then it'll just bring it all back and I want to be able to move on and further myself as a person."

Jeremy Jackson

Freshly divorced, Jeremy's single and looking to "have fun with everything I do" during his time on CBB.

Proud of his time on Baywatch,he claims he's already been forced to wear his shorts - "I may or may not have humped the camera lens".

Jeremy will miss animals the most whilst away from home, claiming that not having them in his life will be the "weirdest part".

Katie Hopkins

"I'm just going to do 'Katie'" says one of the UK's most controversial women, stating that she'd hate to be in the house with "any fat person".

"I have no empathy for a fat person. I really hope there might just be one person in there who is funny, clever, witty, well-read or who has spent a lifetime performing on the stage. Something like that would be amazing."

Not concerned about a negative reaction when she leaves, she'd find it much harder coming out to silence - "That would freak you out!"

Hoping that he could do some television or acting work following his time on the show, he does realise "You've still got to prove yourself when you come out".

He would have loved to see someone like Suranne Jones in the house, and as "quite a light sleeper" it worries him that he'll have to be sharing a room with multiple other people.

"I snore myself so I'm a complete hypocrite! As long as I get to sleep first!"

Keith Chegwin

As the favourite to win, he notes that being instantly liked by the public is "fantastic, it really is nice".

He doesn't get nervous nowadays because "If it goes wrong then it's not my fault, they booked me.", and won't be a peacekeeper in the series - "let them fight!"

He would have hated to walk into the house and see Piers Morgan because of Morgan's comments about him throughout the years, and doesn't want to see "Untidiness and dirtiness" from his fellow housemates.

Ken Morley

Not interested in winning, he's hoping to enjoy the experience as for him it becomes "an irrelevance to me when I leave."

Worried about losing his temper, he says that if he does flip in the house "there will be the most violent outburst of volatile filth you have ever heard in your life".

If he got a bad reaction from the crowd he claims he'd encourage it, as he wants to "Let the bile flow and get it out of your systems!"

Michelle Visage

As a huge fan of the show and all things British, Michelle Visage has shot to fame as one of the judges on RuPaul's Drag Race.

Hoping to deliver fashion every single day in the house, Michelle has "packed for four months because after I get out of the House, hopefully I'm winning, I go on a three month tour with the drag queens."

"Everything I do is from the biggest place of love and respect. Anyone who gets up there with a wig and heels is my hero. For me, the other side I'd like people to see is that. That is my truth. I'm in there for the gay community. And not just the gays but for any kid who feels like they've never belonged to a group. All the freaks, all the weirdos, all the misfits who never felt like their life was worth it or have questioned if their life was worth it. I am there for them."

Nadia Sawalha

As a friend of the show, Nadia is happy to finally enter the house and would hate to enter the famous doors and see Joan Collins on the other side.

Speaking of the rumours surrounding Katie Hopkins before entering the house, she thinks she may be able to win her round as she's "heard on the grapevine that she is actually quite funny."

Not loving the idea of people getting raunchy in the house, she commented: "There is no way I could have somebody shagging in the same room as me. I would have to say that I am literally going to throw up. Even when I was wild I couldn't stand that."

Patsy Kensit

Going in the house with the interest of finding out how mentally tough her own character is, she's recently "got very involved in meditating" and finds it now as an "amazing addition to my life".

Her children think it's funny that she's going on the show and she's really looking forward to the experience, despite thinking that she'll be the first person evicted.

"My New Year's resolution was to really live in the moment because I have spent most of my life worrying and working. I am really trying to live in the moment and that is why I am trying not to complain and to take it all in. I'll never do it again and I've got nothing to hide. I know myself and I know who I am. You're either going to love me or hate me and I don't really care."

Perez Hilton

After celebrating ten years online with his popular blog, Perez is hoping to show people "the difference between the persona and the character and the person behind that".

Not seeing himself as a celebrity he knows he's "probably not wanted in as many places as I am wanted", but still loves his life and finds a place of happiness regardless.

Curious to know the stories of the other people in the house, he's hoping to keep viewers wanting more, claiming he's "smarter than your average bear!"
