It's been confirmed to The Sun by Janice Dickinson's representative that the world's first supermodel did throw a chair during last night's fight on Celebrity Big Brother's Bit On The Side, in a bid to "save" Vicki Michelle during the conflict.

Asked by Digital Spy for further comment, her representative said to simply "stay tuned", and didn't give anything else regarding the incident.

Hertfordshire police are now investigating the incident and have promised to release more details "when appropriate".

Things kicked off on last night's (September 22) edition of Celebrity Big Brother's Bit On The Side, with Channel 5 taking the show off air after a heated confrontation on the set resulted in pnaelist Vicki Michelle being taken to hospital with injuries.

Following a double eviction which saw both Jenna Jameson and Janice Dickinson leave the house, Bit On The Side guests Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace and Farrah Abraham got into a war of words after host Rylan Clark asked Aisleyne if she missed seeing Farrah in the house.

Replying that she didn't, Aisleyne then said to Farrah: "You've got your cheque, get on the plane and f**k off. No-one likes you here," before Farrah responded that Aisleyne wasn't "qualified" to comment as she was only on the civilian version of Big Brother.

With both Jenna and Janice later joining the panel, it didn't stop the arguments from flowing with Farrah repeatedly calling Aisleyne a "hag", telling her to "be quiet". It then appeared that Aisleyne picked up her glass of drink before the show cut from the studio row to footage of the Big Brother eye.

Bit On The Side then returned with Rylan explaining that the entire panel had been removed because of an "incident". Continuing on with only the audience, the show was then taken off air 10 minutes earlier than planned, replaced with a brief live feed from the house.

The Sun reports that Allo Allo actress Vicki Michelle was taken to hospital after being caught in the fight, allegedly hit with flying glass after panellists threw champagne at one another.

Since then, Vicki has tweeted that she is fine but she was "bloody hurt".

Aisleyne also took to the social media platform to insist she would be setting "the record straight" at a later date.

Rylan also tweeted his thanks to the "loyal audience and viewers" who stick by the show, apologising for the cut in transmission.

It's also being reported that at some point in the confusion, Janice Dickinson threw her chair, though it's not understood if it was thrown at anybody or simply tossed aside whilst she tried to escape the chaos.

Celebrity Big Brother concludes this Thursday, September 24 at 9pm on Channel 5.
