The 'Bill' actor - who became the second contestant to be evicted from the reality show house on Tuesday (08.09.15) - has revealed he's worried about Gail.

He said: "She really wants to come out, I know that. She's crying a lot, she's very emotionally upset, she's finding it very, very difficult."

Former TV presenter Gail, 44, has famously struggled with depression in the past and was diagnosed with bipolar a number of years ago.

Speaking about how she tries to deal with her issues in the house, Chris explained: "That's why she cleans all the time and that's why she does so much, she's trying to keep herself busy because she's very, very emotional. And finding it very difficult."

The 68-year-old star also admitted that even though he believes she's being looked after by some of the other housemates, he wishes she could have been voted off instead.

He told the Daily Star newspaper: "I'm very worried about Gail. I mean, she's got Natasha Hamilton, who's her friend, and [Fatman] Scoop has sort of taken her under his wing as well, so he's OK on that score, but I think she's suffering."

Chris added: "I just felt that if it hadn't been me, I wish it had been her in a way because I think she needed more than anyone to come out."

'Celebrity Big Brother' continues tonight (10.09.15) at 9pm on Channel 5.
