The 'Strictly Come Dancing' siren, 38, "cried with joy" when she discovered over the festive season she was carrying her and her boyfriend Ben Cohen's first child.

She explained to HELLO! magazine: "It was a surprise but I am obviously delighted. My mother was with me over Christmas and when we found out she put her arms around me and she cried with joy. It is her lifelong dream for me to have a child and it was lovely to see her so happy."

But, although the blonde beauty is looking forward to welcoming her new bundle of joy later this year, she is "nervous" about what the future holds for her and her beau.

She said: "I think I'm on a new path - learning about myself, how to relax and how to enjoy a simple and balanced life. I can't say I'm not nervous but I'm excited about the future."

The professional dancer announced her news last week when she told her 'Celebrity Big Brother' housemates that she's three months pregnant with the rugby hunk's baby.

Meanwhile, Ben - who has twin daughters Harriette and Isabelle, seven, with estranged wife Abigail - was "initially shocked" by the news but is being incredibly "supportive."

The couple, who have been dating for nine months, met in 2013 when they were partnered together for 'Strictly Come Dancing'.

But, despite rumours claiming they were romancing, they have always insisted they only got together after Ben split from his childhood sweetheart Abigail.
