If she won the $100,000 prize, Maddy says she'd put a down payment on a condo because of Vancouver being "pretty expensive". Her favourite Big Brother Canada houseguest of all time is Jillian, because she's "a strong, confident woman", and she thinks she's going to be "pretty good for the physical challenges."

She says she has no strategy, instead she will "take every day as it comes because every day could be different than what I plan for."

Describing herself as "tenacious, happy-go-lucky and strong-willed", Paige says that she'd bring her cat into the house if she could pick one single thing, because animals are her "biggest passion".

Paige notes that she "mostly fears brain competitions", especially anything to do with mathematics. Her Big Brother Canada idol is Gary Glitter because "he's so funny and so sassy", and she could "totally see us being best friends inside the house and outside the house."

Jared doesn't want to get caught in house drama, and instead says his main goal is "being polite", as it's gotten him quite far in life. He says he fears memory challenges the most, and if he could bring anything into the house it'd be his best friend Dan.

Asked who his Big Brother Canada idol is, he responded: "I don't really have one. I like Jon and I thought Emmett was great as well, but I'm not looking to copy anyone. I just want to come at it my own way."

Ramsey Aburaneh, 26, Digital Marketing Worker from Toronto, ON

Ramsey can't decide whether or not he has a strategy to win: "Yes and no. I don't have an A to Z plan because the show changes so much and you can't get too locked to a plan. It's safe to say that for the first half of the show I want to downplay my athleticism and just come off like a guy that just seems to be there to have fun and not really think about the competition side. Then when it's time to, I'll start to showcase who I really am, win some competitions, and stab people in the back."

He'd take his mother into the house if he could, and says he'd have some fun travelling if he won the grand prize. He doesn't have a Big Brother Canada idol "per se", but admits he "liked Kevin's style from last season, but really I'm going in there as Ramsey."

Describing herself as "passionate, driven and a leader", Loveita has a strategy "to make as many promises as possible; even if I have to make promises or search for things to promise. The purpose behind this is that if you're able to make a promise and keep it, you'll immediately build trust. I want people to believe that I will do whatever I say."

She's a huge Brittnee fan and says she admires that she "was so good at putting her emotions aside to get herself to the end of the competition". She continuesL "She was playing her own game and I respect that a lot. Also as a woman who wasn't necessarily seen as a physical threat going in, she went into those competitions and did so amazing, even when she was up against some big burly guys. She blew me away."

Admitting he's "really bad at making strategies", Raul is looking to instead "go with the flow" in the house. He's worried about living without his cell phone because he's "a social media fanatic", always texting.

His Big Brother Canada idol is Kenny, because "he's just so hot - I'm all over that. That beard! He's also my idol - he's funny and cute and emotional. Even though he didn't win, I liked how he competed. He left a mark. I wouldn't ever do what he did and hide that I'm gay though. Look at me - you would be able to tell immediately."

Saying that his "strategy is to make personal connections as soon as possible with everyone in the house", Joel is "skeptical" of showmances and knows that intentions within them aren't often good, because this is a competition for a lot of money.

He says that the Big Brother Canada former houseguest he relates to most is Jordan Parhar, because "he's a little bit quirky and made some dumb moves, but I liked how he took everything with a grain of salt and his passion and excitement for Big Brother Canada was something I could definitely connect with".

The second and final set of houseguests will be revealed tomorrow, February 25. Big Brother Canada 4 debuts March 2, 9pm ET/PT on Global.
