Union J's Jaymi Hensley is adamant Winston McKenzie has blown his chances of becoming Mayor of London following his "homophobic" claims on 'Celebrity Big Brother.'

The 25-year-old singer - who has been dating his fiancé Olly Marmon since 2009 - has lashed out at the former UKIP spokesperson, 61, after he made some controversial comments on the launch night of the Channel 5 show.

Jaymi told BANG Showbiz: "I don't think I have ever felt like this about someone! I am so disgusted that a human being like this exists! If he thinks he stands the slightest chance of ever becoming Mayor of London he is sorely mistaken!"

But it's not just Winston's rude homophobic remarks, which were aired ahead of his entrance into the infamous earlier this week, that has upset Jaymi as he's also disgusted with the way the political activist had been "letching over" his fellow housemates Tiffany Pollard and Nancy Dell'Olio.

Jaymi added: "He clearly has no respect for women with the way he is letching over Tiffany and Nancy."

Winston sparked outrage earlier this week when he claimed in his pre-recorded entrance video that he could "cope with a homosexual in the house" but he'd have to stand with his "back against a brick wall all the time."

However, Gay Rights Activist Philip Christopher Baldwin thinks Channel 5 are partly to blame because the broadcaster allowed it to air.

He said: "These remarks are outrageous. They are dismissive, trivialising gay men by describing them as an irritation. At the same time Winston suggests that gay men are predatory. His stereotyping is outdated and irrelevant.

"Winston's language of prejudice is homophobia. I'm surprised that Channel 5 decided to air the comments."

Ofcom is currently investigating Winston's remarks after the regulator was hit with over 405 complaints from viewers.

Winston was evicted from the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house last night (08.01.16), just three days after he entered, after 13 out 14 of his fellow housemates voted for him to leave.
