The Saturdays singer took part in last year's competition with professional dancer Kevin Clifton and though she has always been a fan of the programme, she thinks her own experiences will now make her watch the show in a different way.

She said: "I've always watched 'Strictly' with my family. but seeing it now is a completely different experience as I know what everyone is going through behind the scenes.

"No doubt I'm going to become a bit of a sofa critic now I have that inside knowledge - I won't be able to stop myself picking at their dance moves and noticing when they do things wrong."

And the 'Ego' singer - who has 22-month-old son Parker and three-week-old Carter with husband Wayne Bridge - is feeling "jealous" of the celebrities competing for the glitterball trophy this year.

She wrote in her column for OK! magazine: "I'm already feeling so jealous of all the celebrities taking part this year, it really is such a fun show to be a part of and the backstage camaraderie between everyone was one of my favourite things about doing the series."
