The Spandau Ballet frontman - who has kids

Thomas, Toni and Mackenzie with his first wife, Leonie Lawson, and Zara, 10, and Genevieve, three, with spouse Alison Evers - is pleased his kids are "excited" about him taking part on the reality show but admitted they are worried he will "embarrass" himself.

He said: "They're cool actually. My youngest - one of my youngest, Zara, she was like, 'Oh wow, brilliant!' She's really excited.

"They're all pretty... I think the main thing is, you know, 'Dad just don't make a...don't embarrass yourself,' kind of thing. So don't do a shower scene! That's the main

thing! 'Don't do a shower scene Dad!' "

However, the 55-year-old singer admitted he could land a lucrative sponsorship deal if he does a shower scene - and shows off "Big Tone".

Absolute Radio Breakfast Show host Christian O'Connell advised: "If you want to stay in the jungle, I'd say do the shower scene and show us Big Tone!"

Tony replied: "You don't want to see that, I tell you! Mind you, I could go for a lifetime sponsorship in swimwear, you never know do you, you see?"

And the 'Gold' hitmaker joked he wouldn't cut such an impressive figure after weeks on jungle rations.

Christian said: "Speedos suddenly see that body, those buttocks... They could bring out their own range called "Big Tone's Speedos."

Tony - who also hosts his own show on Absolute 80s - laughed: "Big Tone? Well at the end of it, it could be Slender Tone, couldn't it see?"
