Louis Spence would love to sit on the panel as a judge on Strictly Come Dancing, enjoying the stint he spent on the Dancing on Ice panel in 2012. Keen to now land a similar role, he doesn't think that any of the current judges - Len Goodman, Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli or Craig Revel Horwood - will be leaving the BBC competition anytime soon.

He said: "I think Im a good judge when it comes to dance as I've spent my whole life doing it.

"[Would I do 'Strictly'?] Of course! But their panel is very established. I can't see them going anywhere as it works so well."

Louie is currently working in a touring production of 'The Producers' and admits he is keen to land a serious stage role.

Asked if he wants a serious part, he said: "I'd like to. People see me as a high-kicking camp queen but my TV persona is only one part of who I am. I'm not like that all the time - I'd have to slap myself."

Louie also admitted he finds 'The Producers' nerve-wracking because he hasn't taken part in a theatre production for so long.

He told Star magazine: "Other than panto, this is the first time I've done theatre since 1998, so it's nerve-wracking.

"With panto, if you mess up, it doesn't matter so much because it's fun. But a show like this, you can't."
