Lucy Kay, Yanis Marshall, Arnaud, and Medhi are the two acts through to the Britain's Got Talent live final following last night's semi.

The operatic singer, 24, and the French dance group have been voted through to next week's grand final after two impressive performances on the ITV show last night.

Lucy, who performed a rendition of Nella Fatasia, burst into tears after winning the popular vote and described the experience as "overwhelming."

She said: "Thank you so much for voting for me. There's amazing acts I just didn't think I was one of them. Thank you so much!"

The two dance groups in the competition, Cartel and Yanis and his dancers went head-to-head and were put before the judges to pick their favourite.

David Walliams chose Yanis and quipped: "I cannot say no to three Frenchmen in high heels."

Alesha Dixon also chose the troupe, who she described as 'faultless', but Amanda Holden and Simon Cowell both picked Cartel as their favourite act.

The split vote meant it was back to the public to decide and Yanis and co could eventually celebrate after being put through with Lucy to the grand final next Saturday June 7.

Yanis was left stunned after the result was announced and stuttered: "I don't even know yet, I need to, I don't know."

Earlier in the night boyband The Vamps stormed the stage and Alesha's Golden Buzzer picks REAformed performed a stunning rendition of Beyonce's 'End of Time', which wowed the judges.
