The coaches of The Voice UK – Jennifer Hudson, Sir Tom Jones, will.i.am and Gavin Rossdale – will tonight be paying tribute to the late, great George Michael, just a few days after he was laid to rest.

No details as to what will go on during the tribute have yet been revealed, but we can expect something classy from the four iconic artists involved.

It’s been three months since Michael’s passing, but his ceremony was delayed due to ongoing extensive investigations into his death. Michael was buried in North London near her mother Lesley, but the grave will not be open to fans, with those visiting banned from going into the exclusive area.

The tribute will make up just one part of the huge ITV finale, where Michelle John, Jamie Miller, Mo Adeniran and duo Into The Ark will go up against one another to take the title of The Voice UK 2017 winner, along with a Polydor record deal. The acts will also perform a duet with their coaches.

It was revealed this week that the winner of the show will immediately go into working on their debut EP rather than released a winner’s single, heading into the studio with plans to release the smaller music collection within the next few weeks.

The EP’s release will then come alongside a special ITV show called The Winner’s Story, which will follow the victor in their first few weeks of success.

The Voice UK kicks off its momentous finale tonight on ITV at 8.30pm, with a final episode on Sunday at 7pm.
