Adele would've considered performing a duet with Ella Henderson if she'd made it to the final of 'The X Factor'.

The 27-year-old singer - who returned from hiatus with the release of her new single 'Hello' last week - has confessed if she hadn't been pregnant at the time and Ella had made it to the final of the talent show in 2012 she would've been tempted to perform a duet with her.

Asked if she'd do a duet with one of the finalists this year, Adele - who Ella was often compared to - told The KISS FM Breakfast Show: "Well it would depend who's in the final. It depends who's in it. If they're rubbish then no, I won't. There was Ella Henderson I used to like, but she didn't make it at the time. I mean I was pregnant, so I wouldn't have done it, but if she was in it this year and she was in the final I would probably do it with her."

Meanwhile, the 'Rolling in the Deep' hitmaker - who has three-year-old son Angelo with boyfriend Simon Konecki - is set to be grilled by chat show host Graham Norton on an hour-long show titled 'Adele at the BBC' next month.

She will also perform some of the songs from her new album '25' during what will be her first television appearance since she sang her James Bond theme 'Skyfall' at the Oscars in 2013.

Adele said: "I can't wait. Graham and I get on great so it's going to be a laugh."

Referring to her new album as "the music event of the year", Norton added: "This opportunity to spend an hour with Adele, her music and her stories is a truly rare treat. If I wasn't hosting this special I'd be sat at home watching it."

Tickets for the show - which will be taped in front of a live audience on November 2 - will be allocated via a ballot.

Applications are open now on the BBC Music website.
