The X Factor 2018 live shows got underway this past weekend, with two acts sent packing and 14 moving on to this coming weekend's 'Guilty Pleasures' theme. The competition seems to be more open than ever before when it comes to choosing a winner, but in the world of betting, one woman has remained on top for some time.

That artist is Shan who's 15/8 at Bet365; one of the four 'Girls' remaining in the competition under the mentorship of music mogul Simon Cowell. Right now, her closest threat comes from Louis Tomlinson's act Dalton Harris at 6/1; one of the three remaining 'Boys' in the series.

Of course, we're in the live show's earliest days right now, and anything can happen in the coming weeks. Grace Davies was firm favourite to take home the record deal in 2017 before having the top spot usurped by group Rak-Su, so we'll be keeping a close eye on each of the acts and their chances of winning as the weeks go by.

Right now, one of Robbie Williams' groups, Misunderstood are creeping up the table with their eyes on the trophy at 13/2, whilst both Brendan Murray and Bella Penfold of the 'Boys' and 'Girls' sit in fourth and fifth position as far as bets go respectively.

Ayda Field looks to have no shot of seeing one of her acts romp to victory. Following her time in the bottom three this past weekend, Janice Robinson is the act with no chance at 125/1, whilst Giovanni Spano and Danny Tetley also make up three of the bottom four. Only LMA Choir come below Tetley.

Top Tips:

Winning Judge - Simon Cowell 5/6

Outright Winner - Dalton Harris 6/1

The X Factor continues this weekend with the theme 'Guilty Pleasures'. We'll keep you updated with song choices and the like as and when we get them!
