The nine eliminated queens all seemed happy to be back from their hometown across a Zoom meeting. Whether we loved it or not is another conversation altogether... but let’s get into the best moments!

Moment 1: Tamisha (nearly) hitting Kandy

The biggest moment throughout the entire two-hour-long reunion was when Miss Tamisha Iman admitted becoming nearly violent.

She said: “I came to the show to win the sorority that I never won in my ward, but you’re not going to get in touch with everyone. So, Kandy and I would never be friends, but I don’t wish her any malevolence. I do not wish her negative hatred or anything like that. If the cameras weren’t there, I would have hit them.”

CHILD, I was shaken. I couldn’t believe she said that! The Untucked argument was already intense, but could you imagine if punches were thrown?

It’s crazy to see how much that effected both of them to get to that point. In a way, I am glad it didn’t go that far, and it is a shame they will not become friends but, it’s probably for the best.

Moment 2: Rosenali

Denali breaking her thoughts on the whole “Rosenali” topic. It’s no secret we fans could tell Denali and Rosé are close we could even suggest they were an item. However, they are nothing more than best friends.

Denali admitted that Rosé was always there for her ups and downs and proceeded to tease the relationship.

She said: “You never know, a couple of shots of Scottish whiskey? Anything can happen.”

Rosé also made a little comment about the so-called relationship but stopped halfway through – showing she gets the hype around it and make it humorous.

I think it’s nice to see them using memes to create a connection with the fans that love the pair and I think it shows how close they both are.

Moment 3: The Lip Sync Battle for charity!

The reunion ended with lip-sync between the two lip-sync assassins of the season. RuPaul crowned LaLa Ri and Denali, and they both had to virtually lip sync against each other for

charity. This is new, and I LOVED the idea of donating the money to charity – partly because that show can give away $15,000.

The two queens had to lip-sync La Bouche’s “Be My Lover," and our dancing queen of the season Denali claimed the title of “Official Lip-Sync Assassin of Season 13” and received $10,000 for her charity, which was the National Centre for Transgender Equality.

While Lala lost, Ru in the season of giving, gave her $5,000 for the National Black Justice Coalition.

I don’t know about you guys, but I believe that should be something they carry on to the next season.

Moment 4: The Queens delivered some stellar music videos

Now, as much as I love the concept of each queen producing and starring in their music video, I felt like some of them should have not been shown...

I loved how some of the queens created their song, and it worked for some of them, especially Tamisha, who did a very clever play with her song. It kind of reminded me of when Aja went for Valentina, iconic.

However, Tina song just didn’t go lyrical? It felt too rushed and forced and, in my opinion, it was not good at all. The concept she had thought made sense, showing her move on and improve but maybe skip the music videos?

It’s a unique idea, and I can see the producers have tried to make the reunion fun and entertaining but, while it’s over Zoom, you’re not going to get everything fully. You won’t get the drama, the personal chats or the banter you usually get face to face.

Moment 5: Utica

Now Utica might not have got the best moment with miss Utica Queen but we got to re-witnesses the iconic weed conversation, which is hilarious to watch.

If you have forgotten what the weed conversation was, Ru asked her if she had ever smoked weed, and Utica shook her head not then yes, then no. Tt cracked RuPaul up along with us viewers.

Utica also admitted that the roast was the hardest part for her, and she might have admitted it by whispering in her closet like she was hiding from a mob of angry drag race fans, but she still admitted it.

She said: “At the time, I didn’t understand the difference between humour and insults. I’ve gown and seen how jokes can be told and how they can come from a place of love. I definitely wat to strive for that.”

We also got a little tease about her and Olivia Lux going on a date. That’s right. I hear you woo and oohs but, unfortunately, we didn’t get any other information than the food was nice.

While there were some best moments to come from this reunion, I think we all need to start following the rules and getting our vaccine ASAP, because I cannot stomach another get together over Zoom!

The entirety of RuPaul's Drag Race Season 13 is now available to watch on Netflix in the UK.
