As is always the case when it comes to discussing soap spoilers for the week, there’s a lot of drama to digest in the village on Emmerdale! Fortunately this week, it looks like justice could be right around the corner for a fan-favourite character who has been pushed to their limits…

We kick the week off with a flashforward scene that shows a call to the emergency services and three hospital beds. With multiple lives on the line, could there be a cull of some of the most loved faces the village plays host to? We know that one shock death will be revealed before the week is out…

Meanwhile in the present, Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) gives Paul Ashdale (Reece Dinsdale) a call, telling him to meet up at the Dingle home where he has a surprise pre-wedding gift. To Paul’s surprise, Aaron has kidnapped Connor (Danny Cunningham); but that’s just the start of an unravelling of information for Paul this week.

When Liv Flaherty (Isobel Steele) later comes across Connor, the pieces of the puzzle all come together and she learns the truth about the attack on Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson).

Hoping to expose the truth, she goes to Aaron who promises to help in convincing Vinny to tell Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) the truth about the man she's betrothed to marry.

Paul deals another violent attack to his son later in the week, whilst Mandy simply worries about how her big day is going to go. He’s not the only one to feel the force of Paul’s fists however, as the violent gambling addict hits Liv when she confronts him in the wedding barn.

Could this be the push Vinny finally needs to come clean and reveal what’s really been happening?

Elsewhere, things seem to be going from bad to worse for Jimmy King (Nick Miles), who discovers another business opportunity has passed him by due to sabotage from his ex, Juliette Holliday (Amelia Curtis).

His wife Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) takes matters into her own hands, accepting a job with Mack Boyd (Lawrence Robb). That’s not the end of their drama however.

In the middle of the week, we will see Jimmy struggle to breathe whilst behind the wheel of his truck, rounding a corner and failing to see what’s right in front of him due to the glare of the sun. He braces himself for impact when losing control; could this be the reason for the hospitalisation of three main Emmerdale characters?

All we know right now is that Mack will be left feeling riddled with guilt, whilst Nicola’s father, Rodney Blackstock (Patrick Mower), will have a confession to make on Friday…

Emmerdale continues this Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (hour-long episode) and Friday on ITV.
