Mary Berry is one of the most wonderful women on television, and her incredible passion for baking on The Great British Bake Off does not go unnoticed.

Here, we've put together 10 things we've found out about Mary that everyone should know about her. Why? Well, because she's simply Mary Berry, of course!

1) She finds Coronation Street too depressing

Speaking to Radio Times earlier this year, Mary Berry said of the ITV soap: "I used to watch Coronation Street but it was totally different then. I don't really want to watch the stuff that goes on now - the fighting, the drama, the stories about rape, children out of wedlock... That may be as life is, but I don't really want to know. I want something a little bit happier on my television, something gentle that's not going to disturb and worry me."

2) She gets drunk with Paul Hollywood

Fellow Bake Off judge Paul Hollywood admitted in an interview with new! magazine that he often goes out drinking with Mary. He said: "When we do Bake Off it's so chilled. It's quite relaxing. It is long hours and a very long day but we go out and get drunk together."

3) She has a potty mouth

That isn't the only thing Paul's shared about Mary. Speaking last year to the Daily Star newspaper, he explained: "Some of the stuff in the new (2014) series... oh my! There was one time when I had to leave the tent over something Mary Berry said. I told Mel and Sue, 'I can't stay in there, it's too much.'"

4) She won't spoil her grandchildren at Christmas

Mary instead prefers buying her grandchildren "experiences" when the festive day comes around. She says: "We're good at keeping to a budget and nearly always give them an experience, like sailing lessons or tennis lessons. We don't give them toys. Abby and Grace, [my son] Thomas' grils are 12, and [my daughter] Annabel has Louis, eight, Tobie, six, and Atlanta, two."

5) She still enjoys a spot of clubbing

When Bake Off host Sue Perkins went on Alan Carr's Chatty Man, she said of Mary: "I was saying to her, 'I'm going to Ibiza this summer, I've never been.' She said to me, 'Oh I went to Ibiza, darling. I went to somewhere called Pacha.' Mary was 71! We thought she went to Pacha for afternoon tea. So we said, 'Oh, was it afternoon tea?' and she said, 'Got there at one' - we were like, 'Oh, lunch time.' No, no my friends, one in the morning! Bezza got there at one in the morning, aged 71."

6) She's not a Gordon Ramsay fan

2013 saw Mary blast Gordon Ramsay for poor quality television, saying to Radio Times magazine: "There aren't many programmes where all ages can sit and watch from beginning to end. Everything else is violent, cruel and noisy. We're educational without viewers realising it. I hate Gordon Ramsay's programmes: I don't know if he's been told it makes good television."

7) She'd like Hugh Jackman on Bake Off

The talent told BANG Showbiz in 2013 that she'd love to see Hugh Jackman on the celebrity version of Bake Off. "Hugh Jackman would be very nice, or John Bishop. That would just suit me down to the ground. Those would do very well. Hugh Bonneville wouldn't be too bad either."

8) Her chemistry with Paul Hollywood is natural

Speaking this year to The Guardian about the new series of Bake Off, she said about her relationship with Paul: "We have no rehearsal, we don't say what we're going to do, we just get up there and it naturally comes."

9) She'll open 2015's RHS Wisley Flower Show

At one of the UK's most extravagent floral extravaganzas, Mary Berry will be present to open proceedings. Information can be found at www.rhs.org.uk

10) And she doesn't mind miming an iconic tune...
