In gorgeous Blu-ray quality, WWE fans can now pick up brand new documentary The Kliq Rules, reuniting some of the biggest names from the business in a new documentary taking a look at their time as The Kliq.

Shawn Michaels, Triple H, X-Pac, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall were the five men who made up that group, and though fans to this day still hold them in high regard, it wasn't always a good time for those working around The Kliq, with Bret Hart even today struggling to find anything good to say about the group; "I wish I could say something really flattering about them but, they were a bunch of backstabbers." He remembers them as a group who simply wanted to control every aspect of the business, helping themselves and nobody else.

It's these candid interviews that add a whole other level to this new release. We could have had a documentary simply about how brilliant The Kliq were for the WWE and how they changed the landscape, but would we have had the whole story?

Whilst fans loved the idea of a war going on between the wrestlers in the locker room, especially following the formation of a new group of friends - BSK - it made for some uncomfortable atmospheres back when The Kliq were at the top of their game. JBL notes how the locker room was a "very fractured" place, and The Kliq admit they'd play on that, boasting about earning double what they actually earned to get their fellow Superstars' backs up.

Despite all that, these five were fundamental to keeping the business afloat during tough times when attendance and ratings were both down. They knew how to do their jobs and they did it well.

Now in the present day, it's great to see these industry icons sat around chatting about their past - it's a very natural flowing conversation between the group and it's clear that their friendship has remained intact to this day.

Opening up the documentary, Michaels explains that the "biggest thing is we're all still very close, and that's pretty hard to come by in this line of work." And though they've been out of the spotlight for some time now, the fans should feel just as close, if not closer than ever before after catching this eye-opening documentary.

A history lesson for those unfamiliar and a nostalgic look back for those who are, The Kliq Rules also collects some of the biggest matches the five names have been in, with extras added to the Blu-ray edition.
