You're currently starring as Ciara Brady in Days of Our Lives; can you tell us a little bit about your experience on the show so far?

My experience on the show has been beyond words. I love coming into work every day and being able to absorb so much information. With it being a fast pace environment, I am pretty much going through acting boot camp and I adore every second of it!

What’s a typical day like on the set of the show? If indeed there are any ‘typical’ days!

On a typical day, I walk into the studios, sign in and go to my dressing room to drop my stuff off and gather my thoughts for the day. Sometimes, I like to stretch, breathe, and sometimes I’ll listen to wild music and even dance! After I do that, I go to hair and makeup to run lines with my co-stars. Then I am off to set to start filming!

Can you give us any teasers as to what to expect from the show and your character in the next few weeks?

All I can say is that Ciara’s love life is about to get A LOT more complicated.

You star in upcoming thriller Fog City; what can you tell us about that project and the character you play?

It was actually the first project I have ever booked! I played the antagonist and do not want to spoil it too much, but I go absolutely crazy in that film. It was so much fun to shoot!

What have been some of the biggest challenges in your career to-date?

The biggest challenge to face is the social media game actors have to play nowadays. I got an audition once where I had to list my follower count before I was able to act. I think it is misplacing the focus to the art of acting. I do not see what my follower count has to do with the creativity I can contribute to the project and it is challenging to compete based off of a fake reality.

Comparatively, what have been some of your biggest highlights so far?

Honestly, I consider everything a highlight. I am so appreciative of any project I get to be a part of. I feel like a kid opening up presents on Christmas morning when I act. Every time that I step on stage is a highlight.

Are there any shows or film franchises you’d love to be a part of in the future?

I would love to play a version of Catwoman at some point in the future!

Who are some of your favourite stars of both the small and big screen?

Some of my favourite stars on both the small and big screen are Leonardo DiCaprio, Angelina Jolie, Reese Witherspoon, Bradley Cooper and Matt Damon who takes the cake.

What advice do you have for anybody trying to carve out their own career in this industry?

Be true to yourself because conforming to society is so boring and it is so easy to get lost in comparing yourself to others. There is only one special you and the sooner you realise that, the better.

Finally, what do you have coming up in the last few months of 2018?

I have been talking to some of my friends about potentially producing our own film, but nothing is concrete. I find it so exciting to create your own reality and collaborate with others in the same industry who all have the same hopes and dreams!
