Wes Craven changed the teen slasher horror genre forever with his hit movie Scream back in 1996, playing both into and commenting on the stereotypes associated with the genre. Represented, deconstructed and regularly picked apart by the on-screen killer, the film was immensely self-aware with huge praise going to screenwriter Kevin Williamson for that very fact.
So successful, it went on to spawn three sequels and the upcoming television series, coming on the back of current horror-based television shows such as Hannibal, American Horror Story and Bates Motel.
Willa Fitzgerald stars in the show alongside Bex Taylor-Klaus, Connor Weil, Amadeus Serafini, Carlson Young, John Karna and Tom Maden.
Taking place years after the original movie, an act of cyber bullying becomes the catalyst for a brand new killing spree in the same town of Lakewood.
